Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a drive-through show?
No. Guests park and walk approximately 250–500 feet to the viewing area. The light show lasts approximately 30 minutes.

When should we arrive?
Arrive 20–30 minutes before your show to park and walk to the viewing area. Entry opens 30 minutes before showtime; please do not arrive earlier.

Do we need tickets in advance?
Yes. Tickets must be purchased online before arrival; tickets are not sold on site. Each ticket admits one passenger vehicle for one show. Buses and limousines are not permitted.

Can I cancel or change my date?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or guest-requested date changes. If Hidden Lakes cancels a show, affected guests may reschedule for another available show.

Should we bring chairs?
Bring your favorite camping chair or picnic blanket unless you reserved a picnic table or the VIP viewing deck. Each reserved table and the VIP deck has an 8-foot picnic table seating up to eight people.

Can we bring snacks and drinks?
Yes. Outside snacks and nonalcoholic drinks are welcome.

Can we bring pets?
Service animals are welcome. Pets are not permitted.

Is closer parking available?
A limited number of accessible-parking tickets can be reserved. Display a valid disability parking placard or plate and turn on your hazard lights on arrival to alert parking staff. All paths are unpaved gravel and clay and may be difficult for wheelchairs and walkers. Closer parking shortens the walk but does not provide a paved route. Are restrooms available?
Standard portable restrooms will be available on site.

What happens if Hidden Lakes cancels for weather?
Affected ticket holders may reschedule for another available show. We will provide rebooking instructions.
